The Builders brand
The Builders, a chapter of the AGC, exists to serve, support and advance the commercial construction industry. Our passion is to provide exceptional services with integrity, and our strength is derived through evolution, collaborating with leaders in construction and beyond to meet the needs of our membership to help them build their businesses and, in turn, build the heartland.
We are a continuing restoration project – built on bedrock, but remodeled to meet the moment.
Our core values are ADVANCEMENT, COLLABORATION and INTEGRITY.
The Builders brand is the visual representation of these values and our mission, and consistent use of the identifying marks of the brand strengthen our reputation within the community of practice. To that end, anyone with permission to represent our brand must follow these guidelines.
Logo guidelines
Dos and Don’ts
- The logo should always appear with the SM mark.
- The logo may be displayed with the Skyward Blue accent color and black, in all black or in all white, but it should not appear in any other color or color combination.
- Never apply a shadow or 3D effect to the logo.
- The logo may not be stretched or altered in shape.
- The logo should always stand alone. To ensure legibility, always keep a minimum clear space around the logo. This space isolates the mark from any competing graphic elements, like other logos or body copy, that might conflict with, overcrowd, and lessen the impact of the mark. The clear space is to be determined by taking 10% of the total width of the logo. No graphic elements or text should invade this zone.
- Do not use prior versions of logos.
- Do not add to or subtract from logo.
- Ensure the logo is only imprinted when all text is large enough to be legible.
