
The success of any sized construction project hinges on the accuracy of estimating done for the project. The purpose of this introductory estimating course is to present the students with techniques for completing material quantity take-offs necessary to bid new projects. Topics include:
- Direct and indirect costs.
- Types of estimates.
- Contract documents.
- Labor and equipment and material takeoff.
