Lean Construction Ed. Program - Nov. 1 | AGC Edge

Lean Construction is driven to minimize costs and maximize value on each project completed, challenging all stakeholders to develop and apply better ways to manage the overall construction process.

The AGC Edge Lean Construction Education Program is designed to educate construction professionals at all experience levels to develop the tools needed to build lean. The highly interactive virtual program provides instruction via Zoom and training to prepare construction industry professionals at all levels to learn the building blocks necessary to transform their projects and companies into a lean operating system.

Schedule of classes:

  • Unit 1– Variation in production systems
  • Unit 2 – Pull in production
  • Unit 3 – Lean work-structuring
  • Unit 4 – The Last Planner® system
  • Unit 5 – Lean supply chain and assembly
  • Unit 6 – Lean design and pre-construction
  • Unit 7 – Problem-solving principles and tools

After participants complete all seven units in the program, they become eligible to sit for an exam to earn the Certificate of Management – Lean Construction (CM-Lean).

Courses will be offered online via the Zoom platform, a webcam is required for participation. Registration costs include all course participant’s materials.
