
AGC Kansas City is celebrating its biennial Building Excellence Awards this year at KC-LIVE on June 8, at 5 p.m. This prestigious awards ceremony honors outstanding companies in the AGC for their efforts in diversity, technology and construction projects demonstrating the pinnacles of excellence. The program will feature 10 award winners and runners-up for each category. This evening of excellence will include a seated dinner in addition to a networking hour and programming.
All Builders' members, regardless of AGC membership, are invited to attend, so come help us celebrate your colleagues, who have been champions in the industry, as well as all the amazing achievements of our industry. Project of the Year by a General Contractor or Construction Manager (six size categories): Recognizes companies that completed projects that were true pinnacles of excellence, serving as an example to the industry. Award winners demonstrated how they overcame obstacles or unique challenges or created a key contribution to the community.
Project of the Year by a Subcontractor: Recognizes companies that demonstrated how their specialty service helped contribute to the overall success of a completed project.
Renovation Project of the Year: Recognizes companies that demonstrated renovation projects that showed a remarkable re-imagining of a space. Award winners showcased how they overcame unique challenges in building restoration or the reuse of a space in a new way.
Diversity & Inclusion Award: Recognizes companies that were champions in advancing diversity and fostering a culture of inclusion within their workforce, supply chain and in the projects they served. Award winners demonstrated how the company and employees promoted diversity and inclusion.
Innovation & Technology Award: Recognizes companies that are looking towards the future in technology or innovative process to advance the industry. Award winners demonstrated how innovation was used to solve a problem or improve process efficiencies or productivity.
